Absztrakt:
A staphylococcus aureus a véráramfertőzések egyik vezető kórokozója. gyakran hoz létre metasztatikus fertőzéses szövődményeket, hosszú kezelést igényel, és magas halálozással jár. A kezelési irányelvek betartása és minden beteg esetén ágy melletti infektológiai konzílium szükséges a kimenetel javításához.
Abstract:
Staphylococcus aureus is a leading pathogen of bloodstream infections. S. aureus bacteraemia is associated with secondary metastatic complications, long treatment and high mortality. Adherence to standard of care and bedside infectious diseases specialist consultation is necessary to improve outcome.
