Az Infokommunikációs Technológiák (IKT) hatása a méltányosságra, esélyegyenlőségre és a fenntarthatóságra, 1. rész

Absztrakt:

A szerző tanulmánya első részében áttekinti az egészségügy fenntarthatósági problémájának okait. Véleménye szerint a 20. század közepén volt egy rövid boldog időszak, amikor azt hittük, hogy a technológiai fejlődés megoldja az egészségügy problémáját, és különösebb egyéni vagy társadalmi teher nélkül mindenki hozzáférhet a jó ellátáshoz, egészséghez. Mára ez a remény meghalt, a fenntarthatóság a 20. század utolsó negyedétől a társadalmi igazságosságra törekvő egészségügyi rendszerek egyre súlyosabb kihívása. A 20. század utolsó évtizedétől nyilvánvaló, hogy a gazdaság növekedése (az igazságosságra törekvés kiterjedése mellett) nem tart lépést a technológiai fejlődés és a demográfiai változások okozta kódolt költségnövekedéssel.

Abstract:

The impact of Infocommunication Technologies on equity, equal opportunities and sustainability. The author in the first part of the study reviews the reasons of the sustainability problem of healthcare. In his opinion there was an easy period in the middle of the 20th century when it was believed that the technological development would solve the problem of healthcare, and appropriate medical care and good health would be available for everyone, without any particular individual or social burden. By now this hope is lost – since the last quarter of the 20th century sustainability has become a more and more difficult challenge for health care systems aiming social justice. Since the last decade of the 20th century it is obvious that the economic growth (besides the growing intension for justice) does not keep up with the increasing costs caused by technological development and demographic changes.
